We would say that we don't really have a protagonist as we don't have one main character in particular, however we would say that the teacher in our film who gets most of the camera time and delivers the most dialogue (Ciaran Keavney) can be seen as the protagonist in our opening film sequence. The teacher also has mainly close up shots to show he may be the protagonist. The teacher relates to the audience as he is seen as a more socaible and approachable teacher as teenagers in our target audience like teachers to be like this character.
The use of high-angle camera shots makes attract our audience in believeing that this is from a persons view in the tree's looking down on there victims or prey. Making our audience the fear more as the audience may expect whats going to happen but the characters don't, this will also give a better spectators view as the audience on the film. The use of handheld camera gives another point of view of the characters and how they would see the surroundings. This also builds up tension and fear of something is going to happen, as the handheld camera is very shakey and uneasy to see whats happening on the screen. Doing these camerashots have helped very well to help attract the audience to be more drawn into the film so they can find out what will happen in these mysterious woods.
